Programs

The 3 year old program is structured as an opportunity to slowly introduce younger students into a school setting, encouraging them to explore everything the classroom has to offer.

 From routines, to relationships, the teachers help support the children every step of the way, building confidence and independence.

Once the children are comfortable, and the teachers are confident in

the students abilities, the class will

start to venture to the outdoor classroom, where students can connect their learning to the natural outdoor environment around them,

as well as take excursions to explore one of the children's favourite destinations, the park and open

green space across the street.

Building up from the 3 year old program, the 4 year old program attends school three mornings a week, preparing students for a smooth transition to kindergarten. 

​

The school year starts with children finding their way back into the school routine, but this time with more independence and confidence. The class explores the outdoor classroom right away, harvesting in the garden, and starting to learn letters and sounds.

​

In the new year, the teachers start to implement their kindergarten readiness program, which encourages the development of skills that the children will take with them to be capable and confident as they start kindergarten.

An opportunity to learn from a diverse group of educators, this program offers a multi age approach for students to develop a robust collection of relationships with their peers.

​

We create opportunities for younger students to learn from older peers and for older students to develop leadership and strengthen their social skills. This blended approach is proven to strengthen skills for all children involved! 

 

 Our low student-to-teacher ratios, supports each child with a smooth and confident transition into their first year of kindergarten and beyond.
